RE: Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2009-25
Enclosed is the Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2009-25. This report represents federal tax refund and/or administrative offsets, less the current fees of $14.05 per federal tax offset and $16.00 per administrative offset, and any adjustments/reversals made during this collection cycle for the 2002 through 2009 processing years.
Based on 3,197 offsets, the net collections total for OCSE Cycle 2009-25 as of January 8, 2010 is $3,936,615. The year-to-date total for 2,067,432 offsets is $2,191,021,733. This compares to 3,218,916 offsets for $2,851,408,252 through the same collection cycle last year.
An electronic version of this report, along with additional detail reports, has been sent to your state via electronic transmission.
The Federal Offset Collections from Economic Recovery Payments (ERP) report, reflecting the cumulative totals in collections from the 2009 ERP offsets, is attached. OCSE Cycle 2009-16 marked the end of the majority of offsets attributable to the 2009 ERP, which began in Cycle 2009-08. While a small number of intercepts may continue to be received through 2010, this will be the final ERP report included with the Federal Offset Collections Report.
At the beginning of every month, a state summary of administrative offsets and collection totals resulting from USDA Farm Service Agency/Commodity Credit Corporation (FSA/CCC) payment offsets will be provided. This monthly USDA/FSA/CCC Collections report will be distributed as long as Treasury makes this information available.
The funds will be transferred through the Automated Clearing House on January 13, 2010. If you have any questions regarding the transfer of collections to your state?s account, please contact Elvis Davis (301) 443-9560 or Cathy Lin (301) 443-3309 at the Program Support Center.
If you have any questions concerning your state?s collection reports, please contact Federal Collections and Enforcement at (202) 401-9389, ext. 4, or via email at email@example.com.
