Payments by Check: In most child support cases the creditor is the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela). In those cases payment processing information is as follows. State agencies should send child support payments to the Social Insurance Institution of Finland: Kansanelakelaitos:

Electronic Payments: Finland also allows for state agencies send child support payments electronically.  The bank information for electronic payments to Finland is as follows:

Please note that in cases where Kela is not involved in the recovery of the child support, the payment processing information will be provided separately.

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number. Remember to always include Finland’s case number and first and last name of the debtor/obligor on all payments and correspondence.
