How to Participate in the Insurance Match Program

Insurance companies or third-party administrators can participate in our Insurance Match program using one of these options:

  1. The Insurance Services Office (ISO) ClaimSearch – If your company reports claims to the ISO ClaimSearch database, then it's easy to participate in our matching program.
    • Notify ISO Customer Support at 800-888-4476 or send an e-mail to njsupport@iso.com.
    • ISO matches claimants to parents who owe past-due support and returns matched claims to us.
    • We send the matches to state child support agencies responsible for collecting the past-due support.
    • States that choose to act on the match will send a request to you to withhold the payment, based on state laws and policies.
  2. We send our file to you (Matching Partner)
    • Receive our file containing parents who owe past-due support and are eligible for the match.
    • You compare your claimants to the parents on our file and return the matches to us.
    • We send the matches to the state child support agencies responsible for collecting the past-due support.
    • States that choose to act on the match will send a request to you to withhold the payment, based on state laws and policies.
  3. You send your file to us
    • Send your claimant file to us to compare to parents who owe past-due child support.
    • We send the matches to the state child support agencies responsible for collecting the past-due support.
    • States that choose to act on the match will send a request to you to withhold the payment, based on state laws and policies.
  4. Use the Debt Inquiry Service web application
    • Register to use the web application on our Child Support Portal.
    • Provide your claimant information through our application either by doing an online search or uploading a file.
    • We compare your claimant information to parents who owe past-due support.
    • We send the matches to the state child support agencies responsible for collecting the past-due support.
    • States that choose to act on the match will send a request to you to withhold the payment, based on state laws and policies.
