TRIBAL DEAR COLLEAGUE LETTER
DATE: September 24, 2013
TO: ALL TRIBAL IV-D DIRECTORS
RE: Submittal of the OCSE-75 – Child Support Enforcement Annual Data Report for FY 2013
This letter is being issued as an annual reminder to tribal agencies administering Child Support Enforcement Programs under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act of the importance of the timely submission of the Tribal Child Support Enforcement Annual Data Report (OCSE-75) and Tribal Narrative Report to the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). Reports for the federal fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, are due by December 29, 2013.
A revised OCSE-75 form was recently approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Ordinarily, once a form is approved, it must be used right away. We don’t want to impact the collection and reporting of information for this fiscal year, so we requested approval to use the current OCSE-75 that expired July 31, 2013, for FY 2013 reporting. We submitted an emergency request to continue using that form for FY 2013. If that request is approved, we will implement the revised form effective FY 2014. Meanwhile, we encourage you to start collecting the data needed for the new form starting October 1, 2013, so that you can report FY 2014 data by December 29, 2014. A draft copy of the revised OCSE-75 is attached.
The current form and instructions issued with Action Transmittal AT-10-07, dated August 12, 2010 are available on our website.
Tribal officials should review reports for accuracy and make sure all fields are completed. Remember to place the tribal name in the appropriate field and mark the report as new or revised.
Please be sure to submit an original OCSE-75 report to OCSE in Washington, DC, through the Online Data Collection (OLDC) system. Effective October 1, 2013, you are required to submit your reports electronically. The OLDC system is available at https://extranet.acf.hhs.gov/ssi.
To request access to the OLDC system for the OCSE-75 report or if you need help using OLDC, contact Lisa Johnson at (202) 401-5599, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, all final and revised reports must be in OCSE no later than December 29, 2013. If you have questions regarding this notice, please contact Dennis Putze at (202) 401-4030 or email@example.com.
