RE: Invitation to Systems and Technology Training for New State Directors
ATTACHMENT: Agenda and Registration Form
I am excited to announce that we have opened registration for our upcoming Systems and Technology module of the New Child Support Directors Training series. This free training will familiarize state child support directors with the role, interoperability and significance of state and federal automated systems; the advance planning, approval and funding process for state automated systems; management of a state child support system; and future directions in technology to consider for optimizing child support systems.
The training will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, which is the day before the NCSEA Policy Forum begins. For your convenience, the training will take place at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, DC, which is also the conference hotel for the NCSEA Policy Forum. The training begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes around 5:00 p.m. EST in the Hermitage Room located in the lower level of the hotel. We can accommodate 30 people for the training and will give priority to new child support directors; seasoned directors and other staff will be added on a first come, first served basis.
In addition, I am looking forward to joining you for lunch with all child support directors during the lunch break (noon-1:30 p.m.). The lunch and dialogue is open to all child support directors, even if you are not attending the training. Please know that lunch is at your own expense. If you are interested in attending the training or joining me for lunch and conversation, please contact Wendy Gray, Senior Associate with the Center for the Support of Families, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (240) 676-7180 to register no later than January 17, 2014. Wendy can answer any questions you might have about lunch or the training.
I hope to see you in February!
