A victim of trafficking may look like many of the people you see every day. The Rescue and Restore campaign increases the identification of trafficking victims in the United States and helps those victims receive the benefits and services they need to restore their lives. The campaign enlists those who are most likely to encounter but not recognize victims of human trafficking.
Services Available to Victims of Human Trafficking: A Resources Guide for Social Service Providers provides information about assistance available to many victims of human trafficking in the United States. Included in this guide is a chart for each Federal program that describes eligibility information for certified adults, children with letters of eligibility, lawful permanent residents, U.S. citizens, and others. It also describes various community and State-funded resources, including food, shelter, clothing, medical care, legal assistance, and job training. Download a copy of the resource guide today!
"Look Beneath the Surface": This informational video on human trafficking and how to identify and assist victims is part of the Rescue & Restore Victims of Human Trafficking public awareness campaign, an initiative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Refugee Resettlement.
