The Family and Youth Services Bureau is an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Bureau’s mission is to promote safety, stability and well-being for people who have experienced or been exposed to violence, neglect or trauma. FYSB achieves this by supporting a number of programs that provide shelter, community services and prevention education. This includes programs in three main areas: Runaway and Homeless Youth, Family Violence Prevention & Services and Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention.
