    Por medio de las Estrategias Innovadoras del Programa de Educación sobre la Responsabilidad Personal (Personal Responsibility Education Program Innovative Strategies, o PREIS, por sus siglas en inglés), la FYSB apoya proyectos de investigación y demostración que implementan estrategias innovadoras para prevenir el embarazo entre jóvenes de 10 a 19 años de edad, que están sin hogar o bajo cuidado temporal, que viven en áreas con altos índices de natalidad en los adolescentes, que provienen de grupos raciales o étnicos minoritarios, o que tienen el VIH/SIDA. Los proyectos también pueden dirigirse a mujeres embarazadas y madres y padres menores de 21 años de edad. El programa de PREIS es administrado por la FYSB en colaboración con el Programa de Investigación y Demonstración para la Prevención del Embarazo en Adolescentes de la Oficina de Salud del Adolescente (Office of Adolescent Health, u OAH, por sus siglas en inglés).
