This is a Modification to the Street Outreach Program Announcement, HHS-2007-ACF-ACYF-YO-0105, published to the ACF Grant Opportunities webpage on April 3, 2007.  The application procedures are hereby modified.

Summary:
The Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Administration on Children, Youth and Families’ (ACYF) Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) is accepting applications for the Street Outreach Program (SOP).  SOP is one of the programs authorized by the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act, 42 USC sections 5701 through 5752 to address runaway and homeless youth problems.  SOP’s purpose is to conduct outreach services designed to build relationships between grantee staff and street youth.  A range of education, intervention, and prevention services are offered to youth who are at risk of being subjected to sexual abuse or exploitations.  The goal of these efforts is to help young people leave the streets and assist in moving and adjusting to a safe and appropriate living arrangement. 

Modification to the published announcement:

In the current program announcement, under Priority Area 2, Section II. Award Information,
the ceiling on the amount of individual awards was omitted.  Please insert the ceiling amount of individual awards to read as follows: 

Ceiling on Amount of Individual Awards:                 $25,000 per budget period

In the current program announcement, under Priority Area 2, Section II. Award Information, Length of Project Period reads, “36-month project with three 12-month budget periods.”

Please change the project period under Priority Area 2 to a 60-month project.

Priority Area 2, Section II. Award Information, Length of Project Periods, should read as follows: 

“Length of Project Periods:  60-month project with five 12-month budget periods.”

In the current program announcement under Priority Area 2, Section IV.2, the subheading Budget and Budget Justification is listed under item “d”. 

Please insert item “e” for this subheading.  It should read:
