| ** Description: |
**This announcement has been cancelled and will not be published. Please refer to announcement “Demonstration Grants to Develop Model Housing Interventions for Young Adults Formerly In Foster Care At Risk Of Homelessness” HHS-2013-ACF-ACYF-CA-0607.**
The Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Children's Bureau (CB), announces the availability of competitive grant funds authorized by the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) Reauthorization Act, as amended. These targeted 5-year grants are to be awarded as demonstration projects that support the implementation and testing of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness’ intervention model for young adults formerly in foster care most at risk of experiencing homelessness (please see http:// www.usich.gov/ resources/ uploads/ asset_library/ USICH_OD_Amendment_WEB_091112v2.pdf for more information). These young adults have been victims of abuse and/or neglect and need an intervention designed to treat their exposure to abuse and/or neglect. The intervention model presents a framework for providing services and coordinating practice as it relates to housing and transition-aged young adults.
