TANF Worker/Management Satisfaction Worksheet

  1. Purpose:
    1. To survey and record the perceived completeness in the interface relative to meeting the needs of the TANF workforce.
    2. To determine whether there are significant shortcomings of the interface process that cause unproductive time loss, ineffective work, etc.
    3. To determine if improvements in the interface process could lead to significant increased productivity and job satisfaction on the part of the TANF workforce.
    4. To determine whether shortcomings are so significant that interface processes need to be modified, upgraded, or replaced.
    5. This worksheet is not intended to be a catchall for complaints about existing systems but to focus on the interface processes.
  2. Instructions:
    1. Complete the following questions (survey and open-ended) for each interface process within the TANF organization.
    2. Because of the nature of this worksheet, it is recommended that you poll several workers at all levels within the TANF organization.
    3. It is recommended that you poll caseworkers, supervisors, and managers in the policy units as well as the support technical personnel at all levels to determine problems that may exist at various levels.
    4. This information will be used to formulate a strategy plan for TANF for  augmentation of interfaces within the Agency.
    5. Upon completion of the worksheet, it is recommended that you compile a summary that describes the findings.
