NHSITRC e-NEWS January 2004 Volume 3, # 1
NHSITRC e-NEWS is a newsletter on events, technology processes, and activities associated with the National Human Services Information Technology Resource Center (NHSITRC) Website, http://www.acf.hhs.gov/nhsitrc, a project developed and maintained under contract to the Administration for Children and Families ( ACF ), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS ). The NHSITRC website is managed and maintained by the State Information Technology Consortium (SITC).
This newsletter is provided as technical assistance to States in their administration and management of automation projects in support of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs nationwide and to inform you of new additions and inclusions on the website.
ACF and its support team (SITC) are currently working with State
Focus Groups in the planning and preparation for upcoming activities
in several areas including: Data Exchange, Enterprise Architecture, and Maximization of Resources. Workshops are tentatively scheduled for the first week in May. Once the logistics are finalized we will send out an official announcement and agenda for each workshop. You are invited to offer any suggestions and input as to best practices or lessons learned in any of these areas, which will be considered for incorporation in the workshops. Please send any recommendations to statesystems@acf.hhs.gov to the attention of David Ivy.
