As many of you know, the website for submitting public comments on the CCDF proposed rule was intermittently unavailable for several days prior to the original closing date for the comment period and many commenters reported difficulty submitting comments using this mechanism. To ensure that all interested parties have an opportunity to comment on the proposed rule we have decided to re-open the comment period.
Please note that all comments previously received by the Office of Child Care – whether through email, mail, or submitted on regulations.gov – are accessible for the public to view on the website link above. If you have previously submitted comments, we strongly encourage you to check the website to confirm your comments were received. Please do not re-submit comments that are already posted.
