This training will focus on cultural and linguistic considerations in addressing sexual violence in Latin@ communities, from the individual level to the community level. Promoting the active engagement of Latin@ communities as partners, topics will include:
• providing a supportive response using the language of "ayuda" (help);
• the powerful role of "promotoras" (community health workers); and
• the use of online social media & the arts to work with Latin@ communities
