ANA Program Announcements

The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) awards funds through grants to American Indians, Native Americans, Native Alaskans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. These grants are awarded to eligible Tribes and Native non-profits that successfully apply for discretionary funds. ANA publishes on Grants.gov an announcement of funds available, the primary areas of focus, review criteria and the method of application.

New Applications:

Program Announcements on Grants.gov

Continuation Applications:

To apply electronically on Grants.gov for a continuation application you click on 'apply for grants.' (Instead of the normal 'find grant opportunities') Next click on 'Step 1: Download a Grant Application Package.'

Now depending on your grants program area you will need to enter one of the following (in the 'Funding Opportunity Number:')

  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NA (SEDS)
  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NK (SEDS-AK)
  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NI (Native Healthy Marriage Initiative
  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NL (Language)
  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NR (Environmental)
  • HHS-2008-ACF-CONT-ANA-NM (Enivronmental Mitigation)
