Project Planning & Development Training: Anchorage, AK
Join the ANA Alaska Region Training & Technical Assistance Center for an on-site Project Planning & Development (PPD) training in Anchorage, AK from August 18th-20th. PPD trainings are designed to provide prospective eligible applicants with skills to plan successful projects.
Participants will engage hands-on in creating a community-based project. You will:
- Discover resources;
- Define a problem statement;
- Establish a goal;
- Create an objective, evaluation process & sustainability plan;
- Begin a basic budget.
- Take this to your community to develop a strategy and workplan.
The training sessions are being offered free of charge to tribal governments and Native non-profit organizations. Each participant is responsible for paying their own travel costs to attend the training.
Participation in the training session is limited to individuals who are employed by tribal governments and native nonprofit organizations serving American Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific. Independent grant writers must provide a signed letter on organization stationary with their registration form in order to attend.
