Obama Administration Releases Plan to Improve Response and Support for Human Trafficking Survivors

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has joined efforts with other federal agencies and private organizations to help improve the support given to survivors of human trafficking as they rebuild their lives.

HHS, along with the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security and other federal agencies, has released the Federal Strategic Action Plan on Services for Victims of Human Trafficking in the United States. The plan lays out a 5-year path for further strengthening coordination, collaboration, and capacity across governmental and nongovernmental entities dedicated to providing support to the victims of human trafficking.
