What is a Non Competing Continuation Application (NCC)?

Approved multi-year grantees must submit an application to ANA for continued project funding for each year of project implementation.

Approved Continuation funding is contingent on: availability of Federal appropriations, submission of all progress and financial reports, satisfactory project performance, and receipt of the NCC Application by the application due date.

What is the deadline for applying?

NCC Continuation Application materials are sent to eligible grantee each year. The timeframe depends on the overall funding cycle and is usually in the spring.  If you do not receive your NCC packet by the end of March, please contact your ANA program specialist immediately.

Completed NCC applications must be submitted by the date specified in the non-competing continuation grant application materials.

What is the application process?

ANA will send/email the NCC application notification letter to the Authorized Official notifying you that the NCC Application Kit has been opened and you can submit your NCC through the GrantSolutions system. .

Complete all necessary documents and submit them electronically via Grantsolutions.gov. These can be uploaded to GrantSolutions as .pdf or other file types.  The forms and certifications can be completed and submitted through GrantSolutions by the Authorized Representative.

All entities that apply for or receive ANA grant awards must be registered online with the System for Award Management (SAM): https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.

NOTE: SAM registration MUST be updated annually.
