Notes: The chart above shows the percentage of cases reviewed in 2002 in which each indicator was determined by reviewers to be a strength in the case. The numbered indicators on the category axis of the chart correspond to the numbered indicators on the onsite review instrument. Among the 24 indicators, achieving adoption for children with a permanency goal of adoption within 24 months of the child's entry into foster care (Item 9) was the indicator least likely to be rated as a strength among the 2002 cases. Reviewers determined that adoption had either been achieved for the child within 24 months of the child's entry into foster care, or that the necessary efforts to achieve adoption within that time frame had been made, in 41% of the 121 applicable cases.
