SUBJECT: Technical Corrections to 45 CFR 1355, 1356 and 1357

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this information memorandum (IM) is to inform the States, Tribes, and Territories of a final rule that makes technical corrections to regulations at 45 CFR 1355, 1356 and 1357.

INFORMATION:
A final rule was published on November 23, 2001 in the Federal Register (66 FR 58672-58677) that amends the Federal regulations at 45 CFR 1355, 1356 and 1357. The rule was necessary to amend:

The Department determined that it was unnecessary to use notice and comment procedures because this rule does not make substantive changes to the existing regulations. Although this regulation is final, the Children's Bureau is accepting comments for a period of 60 days. Please address those comments, by mail to:
