Working With LGBTQ, Runaway, Homeless Youth

It is estimated that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth make up about 20–40 percent of the total number of runaway and homeless youth (RHY) in the United States and are overrepresented in the RHY population. The National Resource Center for Permanency and Family Connections (NRCPFC) published a toolkit to help practitioners and researchers work more effectively with this population.
