This is a map of the United States of America. Each State is shaded one of four colors to indicate the State rate of maltreatment victims per thousand children in the population. The rates are presented in four groups: 0.0 to 6.0, 6.1 to 14.0, 14.1 to 20.0, and greater than 20.0.
