This bar graph depicts the percentage of maltreatment and fatality victims by type of perpetrator. The types are as follows: Female Parent Acting Alone, Male Parent Acting Alone, Both Parents, Female Parent and Other, Male Parent and Other, Other Relative(s), Child Day Care Provider(s), Foster Parent(s), Residential Facility Staff, Other, and Unknown. Within each relationship category there are two bars, one that represents maltreatment victims and the other that represents fatality victims. Each bar signifies the percentage of victims (maltreatment or fatality as the case may be) who were abused by someone with the corresponding relationship.
