This table breaks down the CPS workers and the number of investigations that each must handle. It first lists the name of each State. The second column lists the number of combined Screening, Intake, Investigation, and Assessment Workers. The third and fourth columns break this down further into Screening and Intake Workers followed by Investigation and Assessment Workers. The fifth columns lists the numbers of screened-in investigations and the sixth lists the number of Screened-in Investigations per Investigation Worker. The seventh column lists the total number of Children that are Subjects of an Investigation and the final column lists the number of children per investigation worker.
