This table relays the time it took for an investigation to take place after the filing of a report. The first column lists the name of each State with the following column listing the average number of hours between report and investigation. The third column lists the total number of investigations and the final column indicates the total number of hours between reports and investigations. Only 20 States reported this information for a weighted average of 50 hours between reports and investigations.
