This table organizes the Investigations during the years 1997-2001 into the type of Investigation according to NCANDS category. The table lists each year once and has a column for the number of investigations and percentages of total investigations. The rows are each one of the NCANDS categories under which the percentages and numbers of investigations fall. The titles are as follows: Substantiated, Indicated, Alternative Response Victim, Alternative Response Nonvictim, Unsubstantiated, In Need of Services, Closed with No Finding, Other, and Unknown.
