Estimates are in bold.

The increased number of nonvictims who received postinvestigation services is due, in part, to increased accuracy in reporting.

This table first lists each State, in the first column followed by the total number of victims during the year 2001. The following column, Child Victims who Received Postinvestigation Services, reports the number and percentage of the previously noted victims who received services. The table then reports the total number of nonvictims in each State and is followed by a number and a percentage of the nonvictims who received postinvestigation services. Among the 47 States who submitted data, the percentage of victims who received postinvestigative services was 58.4. Meanwhile, among 38 reporting States, 28.8 percent of nonvictims received similar services.
