This is a map of the United States of America that indicates, by means of shading, the rate of victims per 1,000 children in each State. The rates are presented in four groups: 0.0 to 6.0, 6.1 to 14.0, 14.1 to 20.0, and greater than 20.0.
States With 0.0 to 6.0 Rate Per 1,000 Children
Arizona, Idaho, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
States with 6.1-14.0 Rate Per 1,000 Children
Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii,
Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan,
Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North
Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, and
Wisconsin.
States With 14.1 to 20.0 Rate Per 1,000 Children
Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina,
Ohio, Oklahoma and Utah.
States With Greater Than 20.0 Rate Per 1,000 Children
Alaska, District of Columbia, Connecticut, Florida, and South
Dakota.
