Victims by Perpetrator Relationship, 2004
This table illustrates the relationship of a victim’s perpetrator. The first column lists the relationship (mother, father, female legal guardian, male friend or neighbor, etc. The next column lists the number of victims, and the final column lists the percentage. Approximately 40 percent (38.8) of child victims were maltreated by their mothers acting alone.
