Report Sources, 2005

This table lists the source of referrals by State. The first column lists the name of each State and the following columns list the number and percentage of referrals reported by the source indicated at the top of the column. These columns include educational personnel; legal, law enforcement, criminal justice personnel; social services personnel; medical personnel; mental health personnel; child daycare provider(s); foster care providers; anonymous sources; other; other relatives; parent(s); friend(s) or neighbor(s); unknown or missing; alleged victims; alleged perpetrators. The last column of the table lists the total number of reports per State. The total number of reports among all of the States combined, for 2005, was 1,911,368.
