Victims with a Reported Disability, 2005

This table first lists each State, then the total number of unique victims by State. The next columns provide the number and percentage of reported disabled victims in each of the following categories: mental retardation; emotionally disturbed, visually or hearing impaired; learning disability; physically disabled; behavior problem; and other medical condition. The final column lists the total number of victims with a reported disability, for each State. Thirty-nine States reported 49,952 disabled victims, which was 7.7 percent of the total number of abuse or neglect victims.
