PART Measure: First-Time Victims, 2005

The table displays the number of children who experienced child maltreatment for the first time. The first column lists each State, then the total number of victims. The last two columns list the number and percentage of first-time victims. For all reporting States, 431,613 children were first-time victims, which was 75.3 percent of total victims.
