Perpetrators by Type of Maltreatment, 2007
This table lists the following maltreatment types: medical neglect, multiple maltreatments, neglect, other, physical abuse, psychological maltreatment, sexual abuse, and unknown. The number and percentage of perpetrators are then listed by maltreatment type. More than 60 percent (61.1%) of perpetrators were found to have neglected children.
