Idaho [ State Comments]

Idaho did not have data available to calculate outcome measures 1.1 or 2.1. Idaho implemented its new SACWIS system in 1999. The capacity to generate reports for measures 1.1 and 2.1 is pending and will be available June 2001.

The data in Section E indicate that 107 children were adopted in FY 1999 (from the AFCARS Adoption Database). However, as shown in outcomes 3.1 and 5.1, only 52 of the exits from foster care (from the AFCARS Foster Care Database) were reported as discharges to adoption. The information for this reporting period was gathered from three separate information systems. We believe inconsistencies may exist because some data did not translate across systems.
