Item 2.1.A: This number may reflect an undercount because of State policy regarding the expungement of unaccepted reports.

Item 2.3: This provides the investigation status for all reports accepted during the fiscal year. "Other Dispositions" are pending dispositions. "Unknown Dispositions" are investigations initiated but not yet completed.

Item 3.2: The numbers of children with substantiated dispositions and children with unsubstantiated dispositions are unduplicated, but a child may be in more than one category. Therefore, the total is a duplicated number of children.

Item 6.1: This is an unduplicated perpetrator count for each child victim over the reporting period.
