Item 1.1: The count of children includes 1,299 who were served by a Social Services Block Grant, along with 12,244 children who received information and referrals. The count of families includes 9,205 who were served by a Comprehensive Plan (IV-B, Part 2, CAPTA, Independent Living), 340 who were served by a Trust Fund and a Community Resource for Families program, and 4,111 who received information and referrals.

Item 2.2: "Other" includes city, county, or military official; Division of Health; public agency; private agency; and others.

Item 4.6: The number of families of child victims of maltreatment who received Family Preservation Services in the last 5 years is 1,073.

Items 7.1 and 7.2: These data were provided by the Human Resources section of the Department of Health and Welfare.

Item 7.4.A: This number was calculated by summing open dates minus referral dates and then dividing by the number of summed records.
