Item 2.2: "Medical Personnel" includes mental health personnel. "Child Care Providers" includes substitute care providers.

Item 3.2: The State provided the number of children with a substantiated disposition (4,054). Because 16,654 children were reported as subjects of a report, the number of children with an unsubstantiated disposition was estimated as 12,600.

Item 4.1: Medical neglect is included in "Physical Abuse," and emotional abuse is included in "Neglect." The total may be greater than the number of substantiated children because more than one type of maltreatment may be recorded per child.
