Item 1.1: This information was taken from the Social Services Block Grant. The number of families was not captured, but these numbers represent adults and children.

Item 2.2: "Substitute Care Providers" includes child day care providers. "Other" includes probation officers and clergy.

Item 6.1: "Residential Facility Staff" includes child day care providers.

Items 7.1 and 7.2:Types of workers include intake/assessment, investigators, and ongoing caseworkers. These numbers are a total from the State and Clark and Washoe Counties. In Nevada, counties with populations in excess of 100,000 are allowed to maintain their own social services systems. As a result, three data streams must be considered for each data item.
