Question:

How can I locate specific information about discretionary grants funded by the Children’s Bureau? Where can I locate documents related to discretionary grants funded by the Children’s Bureau?

Answer:

The Children’s Bureau (CB) has developed the Discretionary Grants Library, an online tool that allows users to search for and view information related to specific CB grant projects.

The Discretionary Grants Library at http://library.childwelfare.gov/cbgrants/ws/library/docs/cb_grants/Gr... provides three options for searching. Users can:

  • View a list of all of the grants awarded by fiscal year, from 2000 – 2011. Information includes the type of grant, a listing of the awardees, the length of the grant, and the dollar amount of the award;
  • Click on a State or Territory to display all of the awards won by agencies, organizations, universities, and Tribes within that particular State or Territory; or
  • Search for discretionary grant documents by State(s)/Territory(s), ACF Region, and/or keyword. In addition, searches can be limited to specific years (FY 1995 – 2011) and to a specific document type.
