Electronic File Transfer Method of Transmitting the Case-Level Data File (ACF-801)

The case-level report (ACF-801) should be submitted electronically to ACF via one of the approved electronic file transfer methods – Cyberfusion, Connect:Direct, or Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Each of the 50 States, Territories, and the District of Columbia, is expected to establish a direct connection to the National Institutes of Health computer center. Each of the approved electronic transfer methods provides the security when transmitting confidential data. States should contact the Child Care Automation Resource Center for information on the approved electronic transfer methods.
