1.0 DISCONTINUE FIRG UPDATE FILE(OCSE Ref #278)

The Child Support Enforcement Network (CSENet) 2000 Application is being modified to download only the Intergovernmental Referral Guide Master File from the FIRG server twice a month and send it to States.

1.1 Summary of Changes

The CSENet application is being modified so that it will send to States only the active address information from the IRG Master File. The IRG Update File will no longer be distributed.

1.2 Background

Currently, States may request the IRG Master File, the IRG Update File, or both. The IRG Update File contains invalid data, and replacing the address data using the IRG Master File provides more accurate address information.

1.3 Description of Changes

Modify the CSENet application to ensure that States only receive active address information from the IRG Master File.

1.4 Impact on States

States will no longer receive the IRG Update File from the CSENet application.
