Is there a State definition of Lump Sums? No, however, Guidelines for Establishment and Modification of Child Support and state law defines income to be considered in arriving at the obligation amount. As such, lump sum payments would be included. For example, lump sum payments associated with lottery winnings, workers compensation settlements, bonus payments, severance payments.
Are Employers required to report lump sums? Cite the State law for lump sums. Guidelines for Establishment and Modification of Child Support Art.4(15)
What is the threshold amount for lump sum to be reported?  
How long must the employer hold the lump sum?  
Is the IWO used for lump sums? No.
Are other processes or document(s) used to attach lump sums? Under special/unusual circumstances, the wage withholding process may be used.
Is the CCPA applied to lump sum payments? No.
