1. ENHANCE ADDRESS TYPE DOWNLOAD FOR COUNTY ADDRESSES (OCSE REF #2480)

1.1 Summary of Changes

The IRG System is being modified to remove a State selection for county address types.

1.2 Background

States requested the functionality to download county address types independent of State selection.

1.3 Description of Changes

The IRG System is being modified to remove the check that requires States and Tribes to select a specific State prior to downloading county address types.

1.4 Impact on States

The States and Tribes will be able to download all county address type records for all of the States. This change does not involve a coding change for States.

This modification does not affect output record layouts.

2. ADD DEPARTMENT SEARCH FEATURE ON STATE REGION ADDRESSES SCREEN (OCSE REF #2495)

2.1 Summary of Changes

The IRG System is being modified to allow an additional search method (by Department) when searching for State Region addresses.

2.2 Background

States only had one search option for accessing State Region Address records, which was by Region. The States requested an additional search option that would improve finding State regional address records.

2.3 Description of Changes

The IRG System is being modified to add the 'Select Department Name' drop down and the 'Department Search' button to the Select State Region Addresses page (refer to Figure 2-1)

2.4 Impact on States

States will be able to select from 'State Region' or 'Department' when searching for State regional addresses. This change does not involve any coding changes for States.
