SUBJECT:Provision of Services in Interstate IV-D Cases--Revised State IV-D Plan Preprint Page

ATTACHMENT:Attached is a revised State plan preprint page 2.6, entitled Provision of Services in Interstate IV-D Cases, which reflects changes made by regulations published on February 22, 1988 in the Federal Reqister (53 FR 5246), see OCSE-AT-88-02.

ACTION

REQUIRED:Submit the attached page with a completed transmittal notice form (OCSE-21-U4) to the appropriate Regional Representative as soon as possible.

As stated in the above-mentioned final rule, the requirements concerning central registries are not effective until August 22, 1988. To reduce the paperwork burden on States, we have included all requirements on one revised page, which must be completed to reflect implementation of all requirements.

2.6Provision of Services in Interstate IV-D Cases

The State:

1.Extends the full range of services available under its IV-D plan to any other State in accordance with 45 CFR 302.36 and 303.7.

2.Effective August 22, 1988, has established a central registry for interstate IV-D cases in accordance with õ303.7(a).
