Tax Refund Offset collection report

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

Enclosed you will find a report containing collections and adjustments for the Federal Tax Refund Offset program pertaining to cases for the 1984 through 1988 processing years. The cases contained on this report are separate from those received on the monthly collection/adjustment report for your State. All of these cases have been processed manually due to special "problem" circumstances. For a few States the amount of the adjustments will exceed the amount of the collections. For those States, a bill has been provided stating the amount that must be paid to the Fresno Service Center.
