Tax Refund Offset collection report

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to forward to you the third collection report for The 1990 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of April 1990 minus the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1984 through 1990 processing years.

The net collection total for April is $131,284,100. The electronic finds transfer should be effected on May 7, 1990. We would also like to remind you that the fee amount per offset has risen from $4.54 to $5.79. In addition, we collection and address reports. Beginning with the February 1990 reports, there will be one Collection/ Address/ Adjustment report issued each month. This report will not only list all offset cases with the dollar amount collected for the month but also will provide the current tax filing address for the cases offset (See Exhibit L).

Enclosed where appropriate is a copy of the Collection/Adjustment/ Address Report and the corresponding name change.
