Tax Refund Offset collection report

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to forward to you the fourth collection report for the 1990 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of May 1990 minus the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1984 through 1990 processing year. The net collection total for May is $156,702,032. The electronic funds transfer should be effected on June 7, 1990. Enclosed where appropriate is a copy of the Collection/Adjustment/Address Report and the corresponding name change report.

Net collections for processing year 1990 of $425,255,014 have increased just over 9% of the 1989 collections.
