Telephone Number changes/WITS

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

Several Washington, D.C. Federal Government agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services, are currently converting their telephone system to the WITS (Washington Interagency Telecommunications System), due to changes in the old FTS system. All of the phone numbers for the Office of Child Support Enforcement and the Family Support Administration will change, effective November 13.

Some of the numbers that you might frequently need are:

Program Operations Division: (202) 401-9371

National Reference Center: (202) 401-9382

Federal Parent Locator Service: (202) 401-9267

Federal Tax Offset: (202) 401-9389

Public Inquiry/Information Staff: (202) 401-9373

Policy Branch (PPE Division) (202) 401-9386

Audit Division (202) 401-9387

Note: If you are on FTS please use 441 instead of 401.
