Non-AFDC locate only requests

TO STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

Enclosed is the list of non-AFDC locate only requests which the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) processed for your State for the quarter ending June 30, 1992. This list is being sent in accordance with Action Transmittal OCSE-AT-82-17 dated November 12, 1982.

Section 453(e)(2) of the Social Security Act requires that States reimburse OCSE for the expense of providing FPLS non-AFDC locate only services. The fees are $4.00 for a Social Security Number (SSN) search and $10.00 for a search of Federal files for addresses. The fees should be reported on line 11 of the State's Financial Status Report (Form OCSE-131) for the appropriate quarters.

Any adjustment which you wish to make to this list should be accomplished through the ACF Regional Administrator.
