RE: Seventh Collection Report for 1992

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to forward to you the seventh collection report for the 1992 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of August 1992 minus the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1984 through 1992 processing years. The net collection total for August for 18,882 offsets is $7,158,737. The electronic funds transfer should be effected on September 8, 1992. Enclosed where appropriate is a copy of the August 1992 Collection/Adjustment/Address Report and the corresponding name change report.

The year-to-date net collections have increased form $508,360,058 in processing year 1991 to $627,139,972 in processing year 1992 or an increase of over 23%.
